Junior Accountant - Available to start Immediately

Are you a numbers-driven professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for accuracy? We're looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team — someone who’s proactive, methodical, completed their articles and ready to grow within a fast-paced and ambitious environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full monthly accounting processing, including debtors, creditors, bank accounts, and inter-company transactions
• Monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Maintain and manage full fixed asset registers
• Update investor accounts, perform monthly interest calculations, and circulate statements as required
• Prepare and submit monthly/bi-monthly VAT reconciliations and returns
• Handle month-end and year-end journal entries and assist in the year-end audit process
• Compile monthly cash flow forecasts to ensure payment obligations are met

• Excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans
• A sharp mind for numbers and reconciliation
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Teams)
• A detail-oriented, accurate, and methodical working style
• A self-starter who is proactive, independent, and committed to deadlines
• Strong integrity, confidentiality, and a results-oriented mindset
• A team player who is approachable and open to feedback
• The ability to build rapport at all levels and communicate financial information clearly
• Given the current team composition and office environment, candidates within the 25 – 35 age range are likely to integrate seamlessly into the role.
