Head of Finance / CFO

Job Description:

• Act as a strategic partner to the CEO, supporting growth, profitability, and long-term planning
• Collaborate with the executive team on business strategy, commercial decisions, and financial performance initiatives
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and group performance reporting
• Oversee the preparation of consolidated annual financial statements and manage the full audit process
• Take ownership of tax compliance (VAT, PAYE, corporate tax) and SARS engagement
• Manage treasury, banking relationships, cash flow, and working capital optimisation
• Ensure strong governance by fulfilling statutory, company secretarial, and compliance responsibilities, including acting as Public Officer, Information Officer, and PAIA Officer
• Lead and develop the finance team while maintaining robust internal controls

Skills & Experience:

• CA(SA) qualification
• Minimum 810 years progressive finance leadership experience within a group structure
• Strong technical accounting and consolidated reporting expertise
• Proven audit management and tax compliance experience
• Commercially astute with strong strategic thinking capability
• Ability to operate at executive level while remaining hands-on
• High integrity with a strong governance mindset
