Head of Finance

Job Description:
The successful candidate will take ownership of the full finance function, acting as a key partner to the CEO on strategy, growth, and profitability. The role involves leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting while providing insights into margins, pricing, and business performance.
You will oversee group consolidations, manage audits, and ensure full tax and regulatory compliance. In addition, the position requires strong cash flow and treasury management, as well as driving improvements in processes, controls, and overall financial efficiency.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will guide the finance team while remaining actively involved in the detail.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to support strategic business decisions
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and performance analysis
- Solid technical accounting skills, including group reporting and consolidations
- Hands-on experience with audits, tax compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to manage cash flow, treasury, and working capital effectively
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing finance teams
- Minimum 810 years experience in a senior finance role
- Proven experience in a leadership or Head of Finance / CFO-type position
Qualification:
- CA(SA) qualification (essential)
