Financial Accountant
A leading organisation within the services sector is seeking a capable and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join their finance team based in JHB North. This role is ideally suited to a BCom graduate who has completed articles and gained at least one year of post-article experience.
The successful candidate will be exposed to full financial functions and will play an integral role in supporting accurate financial reporting, compliance, and operational decision-making within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform the full financial function, including month-end and year-end processes
- Draft Annual Financial Statements in line with IFRS
- Prepare and review tax calculations and submissions
- Manage and maintain BBBEE reporting and compliance
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation
- Support audits and liaise with external auditors
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies
Job Experience & Qualifications:
- BCom degree (essential)
- Completed Articles (SAICA / SAIPA)
- Minimum of 1 year post-article experience
- Experience drafting Annual Financial Statements (essential)
- Exposure to tax and BBBEE reporting
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
