The Role
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:30-18:30 or 10:30 to 19:30 depending on daylight savings.
Location: Tygervalley officeWorking Pattern: Monday to Friday - In office.
CV-Library and Resume Library connect millions of jobseekers with employers every month. We’re looking for a UX & Conversion Lead to continually optimise the user experience across both platforms and drive measurable improvements in applications, registrations and engagement.
This is a hands-on role focused on rapidly improving candidate journeys through UX and UI improvements. Working closely with Product, Marketing, SEO and Engineering, you’ll identify friction points, deploy improvements quickly, and measure their impact.
You’ll lead a UX/UI team of two, combining design, UX and front-end skills to rapidly ship improvements that increase conversion and engagement.
What you day will look like:
- Drive UX improvements to increase job applications, registrations and engagement
- Own and deliver a UX roadmap aligned to commercial priorities
- Analyse user behaviour to identify friction points and drop-offs across journeys
- Lead a structured test-and-learn programme (A/B and multivariate testing)
- Define and optimise conversion funnels across search, job view and application flows
- Implement rapid UX/UI improvements using front-end development skills
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, SEO, Data and Engineering teams
- Establish and maintain robust tracking, measurement and reporting frameworks
- Design and optimise new features and candidate experiences
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing UX/UI team while ensuring stakeholder alignment
- Strong experience in UX, product design or conversion optimisation on high-traffic platforms
- Proven track record of improving conversion funnels and user journeys
- Hands-on experience with experimentation (A/B testing, multivariate testing)
- Proficiency with tools such as Figma, Google Analytics and PostHog
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisions
- Commercial awareness with ability to prioritise high-impact opportunities
- Front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, React/Next.js)
- Experience with analytics, behavioural tracking and experimentation tools
- Experience managing or mentoring UX/design team members
- Strong stakeholder management skills in fast-paced, delivery-focused environments
