The Role: Web Designer / UXUI SpecialistThe purpose of this role is to lead UX/UI design for new and existing websites from discovery to delivery, translating user needs and business goals into effective interfaces. The role exists to design and revamp websites with a focus on usability, accessibility, and conversion-driven performance.
It contributes to the business by collaborating with technical and marketing teams to ensure designs are accurately implemented and aligned with SEO principles.
Key Responsibilities- Lead UX/UI design for websites from discovery to delivery, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Create wireframes, user flows, and UI designs that are intuitive, accessible, and conversion-driven.
- Design and revamp WordPress and HTML websites with a focus on usability and user experience.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure UX/UI designs are accurately implemented.
- Apply UX best practices, data insights, and SEO principles to improve user journeys.
- Design supporting digital assets including mailers, newsflashes, and campaign visuals.
- Create GIF and HTML5 banners for digital advertising campaigns.
- Update and manage website content while maintaining design and UX consistency.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a UX/UI or web design role.
- Strong understanding of UX principles including user journeys, information architecture, and usability.
- Proven experience designing user-centered interfaces for websites.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Working knowledge of PHP.
- Solid WordPress experience including theme customization and plugin integration.
- Strong command of Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Understanding of SEO principles and how UX/UI impacts performance.
- Experience with Figma, Sketch, or XD is a plus.
