Junior Accountant

This well-established organisation is looking to appoint a motivated Junior Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a broad range of accounting functions while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management reports
- Perform reconciliations, including bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations
- Support the month-end and year-end financial processes
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Assist with tax submissions and regulatory requirements
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Completed or near completion of SAIPA articles
- Experience gained during SAIPA articles or within an accounting practice
- Exposure to financial reporting and accounting processes
- Experience with QuickBooks and Draftworx
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
