Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a friendly, courteous manner
- Process check‑ins/check‑outs accurately and efficiently
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and guest requests
- Answer phone calls and emails professionally
- Maintain guest records and ensure data accuracy
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to meet guest needs
- Ensure reception area is tidy and well‑presented at all times
- Assist with billing and cash handling following hotel procedures
Qualifications & Skills:
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate required
- Experience in a hotel or hospitality environment (minimum 1 year preferred)
- Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Front Office / Reservation System; Opera knowledge is a plus)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Pleasant, professional appearance and manner
- Bilingual (English / isiZulu or other local language) preferred
- Strong customer service orientation, reliable and able to work under pressure
