Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests in a friendly, courteous manner
  • Process check‑ins/check‑outs accurately and efficiently
  • Handle reservations, cancellations, and guest requests
  • Answer phone calls and emails professionally
  • Maintain guest records and ensure data accuracy
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to meet guest needs
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and well‑presented at all times
  • Assist with billing and cash handling following hotel procedures

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate required
  • Experience in a hotel or hospitality environment (minimum 1 year preferred)
  • Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Front Office / Reservation System; Opera knowledge is a plus)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Pleasant, professional appearance and manner
  • Bilingual (English / isiZulu or other local language) preferred
  • Strong customer service orientation, reliable and able to work under pressure
