An opportunity is available for an experienced SALES ADMINISTRATOR within a structured automotive / dealership / commercial / workshop / or similar environment, responsible for ensuring efficient, compliant, and accurate administration across the full sales process.

This role requires a methodical, systems-driven individual with strong attention to detail, capable of managing manufacturer processes, licensing documentation, and post-sale administration within a high-pressure operational environment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure structured systems and processes are maintained across all sales administration functions
  • Manage all administrative matters relating to vehicle / unit sales processes
  • Liaise with manufacturers to coordinate and process new stock procurement and related documentation
  • Ensure correct operation and administration of warranty systems
  • Process and activate all warranties, telematics services, service plans, and maintenance contracts timeously
  • Conduct Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) follow-ups post-delivery
  • Maintain strict control and management of vehicle / asset keys at all times
  • Ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance in all sales-related transactions
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and documentation on a daily basis
  • Ensure administrative processes are managed within budgetary guidelines
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with manufacturers and internal departments
  • Administer all licensing documentation in line with Traffic Act requirements, including: Registrations, Licensing, Permits, Export police clearances
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and submitted timeously to relevant authorities
  • Maintain audit-ready filing systems (manual and electronic)

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) essential
  • Relevant qualification in Administration / Sales / Business (adv)
  • 35+ years experience in sales administration within automotive / commercial / dealership environment
  • Strong understanding of vehicle sales processes, warranty systems, and licensing procedures
  • Experience liaising with OEMs / manufacturers (highly adv)
  • Exposure to dealership management systems (Autoline / Kerridge / SAP / Similar adv)
  • Strong MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance focus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Financial awareness (costing, invoicing, administrative controls advantageous)
  • Professional, structured, and systems-driven approach to work
  • Traceable & contactable references
  • Local residency in Randburg or surrounding areas, or willingness to relocate
