System Administrator

Our client in Wellington has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced System Administrator to manage and maintain all their current systems, as well as implement more efficient ways of working for overall business success.

The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills, have helpful and highly responsive personality and be innovative.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
  • Provide general system support to staff
  • Conduct training on systems and processes
  • Resolve all system queries and errors, including issues logged with external service providers
  • Maintain and protect master data on systems
  • Manage users and permissions assigned on systems
  • Implement and maintain system enhancements to ensure efficiency
  • Manage and maintain SharePoint site and company emails
  • Provide guidance when required on business processes
  • Maintain integration with own- and third-party systems
  • Create and automate reports
  • Address gaps in cyber security, including employee awareness
  • Manage and/ or assist in Ad hoc projects that reasonably falls within scope of work
REQUIREMENTS
  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • 3-year experience in a similar role
  • Excellent computer software skills
  • Extensive experience in Microsoft office applications, including Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team
  • Very responsive able to attend to task quickly and resolve effectively
  • Good communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Problem solver
  • Be able to work under pressure
