Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily bookkeeping and accounting functions
  • Capture and reconcile financial transactions
  • Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts
  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end procedures
  • Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
  • Assist with VAT submissions and other statutory requirements
  • Support senior accountants with general accounting duties
  • Liaise with clients and internal departments when required
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
  • Currently studying or intending to study towards an accounting qualification (e.g., Diploma or Degree in Accounting)
  • Strong interest in pursuing SAIPA articles
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
