Assist with monthly bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
- Processing invoices, receipts, and payments
- Prepare and maintain general ledgers
- Assist with VAT, EMP, and tax submissions under supervision
- Support in the preparation of management accounts and annual financial statements
- Reconciliation of bank statements, debtors, and creditors
- Filing, data capturing, and maintaining accurate financial records
- Liaise with clients professionally and efficiently
- Perform ad-hoc administrative and accounting duties as assigned
- Currently enrolled in BCom Accounting (1st or 2nd year)
- Intention to pursue SAIPA articles
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Good communication skills (verbal & written)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong willingness to learn and grow within the firm
- Prior exposure to accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, Draftworx)
- Previous work experience in an accounting or admin role
- Own transport and valid drivers licence
- Professional and eager to learn
