The Role: Chemical Engineer

This role exists to design, implement and optimise chemical processes that improve operational efficiency and safety in a manufacturing setting. The focus is on analysing production systems, resolving technical challenges, and contributing to process improvements aligned with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Minimum 2 years of industry experience in a chemical engineering role
Design and optimise chemical processes for manufacturing operations
Troubleshoot and resolve production process issues
Monitor and improve efficiency, output, and safety in plant operations
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements

About You

Degree in Chemical Engineering
At least 2 years of relevant industry experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of industrial safety standards and process compliance
Hands-on approach with attention to detail
Able to work independently and within a team in a high-pressure environment
