A well-established Medical Specialist Practice in Alberton, Gauteng, is seeking a professional and experienced Medical Receptionist to join their team. The ideal candidate should be organised, well-spoken, and able to manage a busy medical reception environment with confidence and efficiency.

Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00
Salary: R13 000 – R15 000 gross (depending on experience)

Practice Type: Medical Specialist Practice

Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Non-smoker!
  • Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist (specialist practice experience advantageous)
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Professional telephone etiquette
  • Ability to work in a structured, fast-paced environment
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite essential)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient bookings and diary management
  • Welcoming and assisting patients professionally
  • Managing incoming calls and patient queries
  • General administrative and reception duties
  • Filing and maintaining patient records
  • Liaising with patients and healthcare professionals

The ideal candidate should be well-presented, detail-oriented, and able to maintain professionalism at all times.
