Are you a results-driven professional with a knack for identifying market opportunities and building lasting client relationships?Our client is a pioneering financial services group, known for bringing customer-focused innovation to the industry. Our client is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join their team and help the company drive growth within their Value-Added Products and Services (VAPS) portfolio.
In this role, you will be a key driver of business development and client success. Your primary purpose is to conduct analysis to provide actionable insights and promote new and existing VAPS products through strategic engagement with the sales team.You'll play a vital part in growing our profitability by delivering customer-focused solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Monitor sales and market data to identify new business opportunities within a specific geographic region. You'll use your research and analytical skills to spot key market themes and trends.
- Insights and Reporting: Prepare data and analytics reports, interpreting complex patterns to provide actionable recommendations to management.
- Relationship Management: Develop and implement a relationship management plan to build connections with key decision-makers and influencers in customer organizations. You will collect feedback to ensure client needs are met and provide recommendations for changes.
- Compliance and Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of our organization's policies, procedures, and relevant regulations. You will also act as a subject matter expert for the team and maintain your professional development.
- Project Management: Manage a portfolio of product projects and report on key milestones and deliverables.
Candidate Requirements
Education and Qualifications:
- Grade 12/ SAQA Accredited Equivalent.
- A relevant 3-year business-related degree/diploma.
- FAIS recognised qualification.
- Regulatory Examination.
- Class of Business Certification.
- STI Qualification.
- KI Regulatory Examination.
- Experience: You must have 3-5 years of essential experience in account, product, or partner management.
- Experience in the financial services and marketing industries is advantageous.
