Our client, a Durban-based, investment-led financial planning business, is looking for a dedicated Finance & Database Coordinator to join their high-performing team in Morningside. This is a permanent role for a methodical professional who excels at managing revenue data and supporting financial health.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Management: Capture and reconcile revenue from service providers and resolve any discrepancies.Commission Oversight: Request and analyze commission statements for accuracy and maintain an organized archive.
Reporting: Create detailed monthly and annual commission reports in Excel, along with ad-hoc business analytics for management.
Financial Support: Assist external accountants with source documents for management accounts and financial statements.
Collaboration: Liaise with service providers and internal team members for general administrative and operational tasks.
Requirements:
Education: Matric certificate is essential.Experience: At least 3 years in a finance and database coordination role, specifically involving management accounts or commission/revenue management.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required.
Soft Skills: Strong teamwork focus, excellent time management, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred (Plus): Experience with CAT I financial planning (investments, insurance, benefits) and software such as Commspace, Xero, AtWork, Xplan, or PowerBi.
