Required:
- Admin:
- Data collection/recording/data capturing/filing/ ordering consumables/invoice payments.
- Creating COC's & COA's for IDY's, specialities & nutrients.
- Tanker/stock recon spreadsheets.
- Filing certificates, worksheets, and temp charts.
- Sending and receiving ad hoc samples for testing between business units.
- Lab Activities/Analyses & Responsibilities:
- Coordinating all analyses on IDY, cream, BDY and specialities.
- Preparing salt solutions for lab & drying plant.
- Daily sample collection & analysis from cream loading, drying, BCY and packaging.
- Coordinating the testing of molasses/effluent.
- Cultures preparation and slant stock takes.
- Archiving retention samples.
- Coordinating vitamin and nutrient makeup and the recording of usages variances.
- Effective organization of the cold room and retention library.
- Product Testing Against Specifications: Accurate & precise testing against published, validated work instructions/reporting deviations and proposing areas for improvement.
- Test Equipment Calibration: Equipment calibration/ring test analysis to ensure the accuracy of analyses in addition to normalizing and variations between ring tests.
- BSc Microbiology.
- Minimum 2 years Lab Supervisor / Co-ordinator or related experience in a production environment.
