Minimum Requirements
- Matric or equivalent qualification
- Hotel school qualification
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Hotel Receptionist within a busy hotel environment
- Previous experience within a 4 or 5-star hotel preferred
- Strong guest service and communication skills
- Professional appearance and well-spoken manner
- Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Strong administrative and multitasking abilities
- Computer literate with hotel system experience
- OPERA PMS experience will secure
- South African ID
- Welcome guests professionally and create a positive first impression
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently
- Handle guest queries, requests and complaints professionally
- Ensure smooth daily front office operations during busy periods
- Assist with reservations, amendments and room allocations
- Maintain accurate guest information and billing details
- Process payments and daily reception administration
- Communicate effectively with Housekeeping and other departments
- Maintain professional front office presentation and service standards
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the guest journey
- Follow hotel procedures and operational requirements accurately
- Support the Front Office team in delivering excellent guest experiences
