Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations to meet production and cost targets
- Safety & Compliance, champion health, safety and evenironmental complaince. OHS-ACT knowledge.
- Maintain ISO standards, manage plant budget, and execute cost-reduction initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and develop production, engineering, and supervisory teams
- Identify, analyse, plan and execute all site related projects
- Extensive knowledge and experience in maintenance strategies and managing a maintenance team
Selection Criteria:
Education (NQF 6 or 7)- Bachelors Degree, B. Tech, or National Diploma in: Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
- Production or Operations Management
- 10+ years in a Senior Leadership Position within a manufacturing environment.
- ERP: Proven experience using SAP or a similar system.
- Quality: Practical working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.
- HSE: Completed Health & Safety Training or qualification.
- Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
