Our Client, a leading impact-focused Private Equity Infrastructure Investment firm that is expanding its Credit Fund team is offering this standout opportunity for an experienced investment professional to play a key role in deal origination, deal structuring and executing complex renewable energy transactions with real community impact.
You will sit at the intersection of project finance, private equity and impact investing, working on high-value transactions linked to REIPPPP renewable energy projects (Solar, Wind & BESS), with a strong focus on Community Investment Vehicles (CIVs).

Key Responsibilities:
- Origination, structuring & execution of refinancing and structured credit transactions
- Building and running advanced financial models
- Leading commercial & financial due diligence workstreams
- Preparing and presenting investment & credit papers
- Engaging with key stakeholders including IPPs, lenders, advisors & industry bodies
- Supporting deal execution from initial pitch through to close
- Contributing to investment strategy and impact objectives
Qualification, Skills & Experience Required:
- MBA, CA(SA), or CFA qualification would be advantageous.
- 78+ years of experience in Private Credit, Project Finance, Infrastructure Private Equity, or Investment Banking.
- Minimum of 4 years direct credit experience.
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills are essential.
- Demonstrated track record in originating, structuring, and executing transactions within private markets.
- Solid understanding of the renewable energy sector, including Solar, Wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
- Proven due diligence experience in community-based or developmental projects, including experience deploying and monitoring funds within communities, would be highly advantageous.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment.
