This business operates within a complex, high-volume vehicle import and distribution environment, partnering closely with international stakeholders to drive operational excellence, profitability, and sustainable growth.
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for full financial oversight, risk management, governance, and performance optimisation across the business, reporting directly to the Finance Director and CEO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the finance function, including a team of 9 and full month-end processes
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and board-level financial packs
- Oversee cash flow, working capital, FX exposure, and core finance operations
- Ensure accurate financial reporting, audit support, and regulatory compliance
- Deliver financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making
- Drive governance, risk management, and continuous team development
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) is essential
- Minimum of 3 years post-articles experience with strong financial management and leadership exposure
- Proven experience managing finance teams and driving end-to-end financial operations
- Strong background in commercial finance, cash flow management, and currency/FX exposure
- Experience within automotive, manufacturing, or complex distribution environments will be highly advantageous
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills with strong analytical and reporting capability
- Ability to operate at executive level with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
