Qualification
  • Matric
  • BCom degree / National Diploma (Marketing)
  • Technical Qualification (Advantageous)
Requirements
  • 3 Years plus Sales experience
  • Expand the customer base of company through upselling, following up on leads and closing sales addition brand building and servicing existing customers.
  • Strategic accounting, budgeting and financial control
  • Experience on ERP and MIS systems
  • Valid drivers license
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans
Duties
  • Receiving telephone orders, email orders and faxes from customers, sales representatives and agents.
  • Ordering and monitoring stock levels, if required by management.
  • Monitoring order progress.
  • Arranging courier transport and invoicing.
  • Preparing quotations on all flooring products.
  • Prepare picking slips for the warehouse.
  • Servicing the public, and advising customers on products.
  • Provide credit department with relevant information.
  • Update stock levels on computer, if required by management.
  • Manage conversions on relevant products e.g. vinyl products.
  • Control back-orders.
  • Generate product labelling and barcodes.
  • Arrange papers for over border sales.
  • Assist with switchboard and general office work when necessary.
  • Consulting with clients after sale to ensure satisfaction resolve any problems and provide ongoing support.
  • Ensursing that sales orders are signed off by Debtors Department prior to invoicing
  • Ensure that all order prices have been checked for accuracy and correctness before being invoiced.
  • Ensure that any special prices / orders have been signed off by relevant manager prior to processing.
  • Inform cash customers of the invoice amount 1 day prior to delivery or collection.
  • Arrange for pick-ups of stock from customers.
  • Conduct stock adjustments by way of goods receipts.
  • Complete credit documentation requests and manage stock returns for credit.
  • Provide weekly feedback to reps / agents on the status of their orders.
