Minimum Requirements
- Matric certificate.
- Own car
- Minimum of 35 years external technical sales experience, preferably within the welding, industrial equipment, engineering, or related sectors.
- Strong knowledge of welding processes, equipment, consumables, and industrial gases will be advantageous.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing customer relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel within the designated area
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and market research.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Conduct customer visits, assess requirements, and recommend suitable technical products and solutions.
- Provide technical support, product demonstrations, and after-sales assistance.
- Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and product recommendations.
- Follow up on leads, quotations, and customer enquiries to convert opportunities into sales.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales reports, and market information on CRM systems.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments.
