Structural Steel Boilermaker / Welder

R.A.W. Group is looking for a Boilermaker / Welder to join their team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Take and read measurements
• Always follow specifications and instructions for maximum efficiency
• Proficient in Mig, Tig and Arc Welding
• Plan layouts and procedures for fabrication
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or machinery to be used
• Set up components for welding
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
• Conduct site meetings to review project milestones, assess work quality, identify any deviations from the plan and to make sure that the construction activities align with specifications and design intent
• Able to manage, guide and lead team to ensure quality, accuracy, and on-time completion in compliance with plans and specifications

Requirements:

• Trade Qualification, relevant training and/or certifications in Boilermaking / Welding
• Proven work experience as a boilermaker or similar role
• Previous experience in structural steel fabrication and construction industry
• Knowledge of construction methods and technologies
• Be able to read, interpret and fabricate from workshop drawings
• Strong leadership skills, project coordination, and time management
