Operations Manager (Restaurant)

We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Operations Manager to lead our hospitality team in Bryanston. This senior role is the linchpin of the business, bridging front‑of‑house, the kitchen, and upper management to ensure seamless operations, cost control, and exceptional customer experiences.

Key Requirements:

• 510 years of hospitality management experience
• Strong judgment and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Flexibility with working hours (evenings, weekends, holidays)
• Attention to detail and client‑service orientation
• Fully computer literate
• Valid drivers license and own reliable transport
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily restaurant operations across all shifts
• Manage staff performance, training, and development
• Control budgets, forecasts, and financial targets
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
• Maintain high guest satisfaction and resolve complaints efficiently
• Conduct regular checks for maintenance, cleanliness, and operational standards
• Analyze sales, costs, and KPIs to improve performance
• Lead stock management, supplier relationships, and cost control
• Prepare and present monthly reports to the board
• Support openings, renovations, and expansions

Salary: R35 000

Working Hours: 09:00 Closing (Monday to Sunday, shifts applicable)
