Junior Planner – Industrial Division

Educational requirements and experience for the position:

• Minimum educational level - Grade 12 with exceptional relevant work-related experience, minimum 2 years.
• Preferred educational level Production and/or Planning or equivalent tertiary qualification.
• Mathematical knowledge A minimum requirement for Raw material and Finished goods calculations.
• Microsoft office suite A minimum requirement.

• Materials requirement plan (MRP) review and action
• Forecast review and action
• Job card issuing and review
• Back-order review and action
• Supply Chain Transfers review and action
• Purchase requisition and purchase order processing.
• Process improvement projects

Duties:

• Key responsibilities as listed above.
• Review RM requirements to ensure continuous supply to meet requirements.
• Liaise with Sales Team, Branches, Production, Warehouse and Finance.
• Coordinate movement of product from converting warehouse to FG warehouse.
• Review branch requirements and action stock orders.
• Review open jobs and expedite. Update Job scheduler and provide feedback to relevant departments.
• BOM maintenance and where required conduct time studies to verify data.
• Estimate and replacement RM and FG cost calculations.
• Ensure all SHEQ requirements are met as per the company policies and procedures.
• Comply with all company Policies and Procedures.
• Complete all tasks as required by your departmental manager
