Senior Accountant

An established and fast-growing player in the construction sector is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. Duties:
- Manage full financial function, including general ledger and month-end processes
- Prepare and review management accounts and financial reports
- Perform detailed cost analysis and support project profitability tracking
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Liaise with internal stakeholders across operations and project teams
- Support audits and statutory requirements
Education and experience:
- BCom Accounting
- Completed articles
- Minimum 3+ years post-article experience
- Experience in the building/construction industry
- Buildsmart experience is essential (non-negotiable)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
