We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our PMB based client. In this hands-on role, you will ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of flexible packaging machinery, minimizing downtime and supporting production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on packaging machinery.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure machines operate efficiently and safely.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and report on machine performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes.
Requirements:
- Relevant technical qualification or trade certification (mechanical/electrical/electromechanical).
- Previous experience in maintenance within the packaging or manufacturing industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of safety standards and adherence to workplace safety protocols.
- Flexible and willing to work shifts if required.
