HR Officer
Our client in the mining industry is seeking an HR Officer to join their team.
This role will be responsible for delivering a full HR generalist function while supporting business operations and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
Minimum Requirements:
Relevant tertiary qualification (Degree in Human Resource Management or Industrial Psychology preferred)
Minimum 35 years experience in a similar HR role
Valid drivers licence and own transport
Strong knowledge of Employment Equity and HR legislation
Knowledge of HR systems (Sage 300, BEE123 advantageous)
Experience with Social Labour Plans (SLP) advantageous
Willingness to travel to various operational sites
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a full HR generalist function to the business
Manage recruitment and selection processes
Support management and employees on employee relations matters
Provide HR advice and guidance to staff and leadership
Manage performance management processes and training plans
Ensure compliance with Employment Equity and Skills Development legislation
Oversee Learning and Development initiatives
Maintain confidentiality of employee records
Participate in HR projects and initiatives
