Overview
A leading organisation within the distribution and contract logistics sector is seeking a high-performing Business Development Executive to drive growth and expand market share. This is a strategic role suited to a commercially strong individual with a proven ability to secure new business and build long-term client relationships.
Role Purpose
To actively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within distribution and contract logistics, while developing a sustainable sales pipeline and contributing to long-term revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and secure new clients within logistics, warehousing, and distribution
- Build and manage a strong, qualified sales pipeline
- Drive revenue growth aligned with business strategy
- Lead RFQ/RFP processes and commercial negotiations
- Develop tailored logistics solutions for clients
- Expand services within existing client accounts (upselling & cross-selling)
- Collaborate with operations to ensure solution feasibility
