Financial Manager

The successful candidate will also be involved in treasury management, compliance, investor reporting, and broader management oversight, playing a key role in supporting the firm's financial operations and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Portfolio Accounting & Reconciliation - Maintain accurate records of portfolio holdings, ensuring timely reconciliation at month-end
• Compile and distribute daily portfolio summaries, month-end reports, and quarterly investor performance updates
• Treasury Management
• Fund Oversight - Work closely with the fund administrator and depositary to generate formal financial reports and ensure compliance
• Interest & Fee Validation - Review interest calculations performed by Operations Analysts to verify accuracy
• Liaise with external auditors to manage the annual audits of the funds

• Third-Party Accounting Oversight - Supervise and review the work of the external accounting firm, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Prepare monthly financial reports and support annual budget development
• Regulatory & Compliance - Assist with monitoring, reporting to regulators, and ensuring adherence to compliance procedures
• Accounts Payable & General Support - Manage vendor invoices, ensure payments are processed, and assist with ad-hoc financial task

Requirements:

• CA(SA)
• Minimum 5 experience in the financial services industry
• Previous experience working within the Fund Administration space
