Our client specializes in the design and supply of air conditioning and ventilation systems
Job Description- Produce designs of Airconditioning and Ventilation systems for Commercial and Residential projects
- Design to local SANS requirements and similar HVAC design standards for projects, such as during council submission processes.
- Selection of AC equipment, Fans, diffusion and develop ducting designs
- Contribute to 3D modelling and 2D drawings of workshop layouts for HVAC Systems utilizing Revit and AutoCAD.
- Maintain and track project administrative processes relating to designs and drawings.
- Occasionally take part in site meetings for coordination and design development
- Collaborate with Team Leaders, Project Managers as well as external clients.
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years work experience with the main function being that of detailed design and drafting/modelling of HVAC systems.
- A good understanding of HVAC system design and products.
- Draughting in AutoCAD
- Modelling in Revit
- Customer liaison and service skills
- Knowledge of service / product and installation methods
- Own vehicle and drivers license
