Financial Accounting Officer – Paarl

• Matric, or related qualification. Additional qualifications will be advantageous
• Minimum 23 years' experience in a financial administration or accounting role
• Proven experience in debtors and creditors administration
• Knowledge of accounting software
• Excellent communication skills in Afrikaans and English
• Professional and tactful approach to challenging customer interactions
• Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
• Team player

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly accounting functions in line with Head Office requirements
• Manage debtors and creditors, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations
• Follow up on outstanding accounts and handle debt collection professionally
• Process supplier payments and maintain accurate financial records
• Assist with monthly reporting, account reconciliations, and audits
• Reconcile bank accounts and investigate financial discrepancies
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departments on financial matters
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial controls
• Provide general administrative support to the finance department
• Contribute to team objectives and continuous process improvement
