Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Manage the general ledger, journals, and reconciliations
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
- Account for rental income, lease agreements, and property-related transactions
- Assist with budgets and forecasts for property portfolios
- Maintain and manage the fixed asset register
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and property-related accounting standards
- Liaise with auditors and support year-end audit processes
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:
- BCom Accounting (essential)
- BCom Honours in Accounting
Experience:
- 24 years experience in a Financial Accountant role within the property sector
