Assistant Financial Controller

An exciting opportunity is available for an Assistant Financial Controller to join a fast-paced hospitality business. This role is ideal for an energetic and driven finance professional who is ready to step into a hands-on position, working closely with the Financial Controller while taking responsibility for core finance functions.

Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 35 years relevant finance experience
- Industry experience within hospitality preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Ability to manage and lead a small team
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Financial Controller in managing the finance function
- Perform full accounting duties and financial reporting
- Supervise and guide finance team members
- Maintain general ledger accounts and perform reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end processes
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and internal controls
- Support operational teams with financial information and insights

- Act as the right hand to the Financial Controller
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting
- Maintain efficient finance operations in a fast-paced environment
