You will be part of a high-performing finance team within a fast-paced consumer goods environment, acting as a trusted business partner to both finance and operational leadership. This role is ideal for a commercially minded CA(SA) who enjoys translating financial information into actionable business insights and influencing strategic outcomes.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving profitability, supporting business performance, and partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver value across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with operational and commercial teams to drive business performance
- Deliver financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and performance reports
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Monitor and analyse key business drivers, margins, and profitability
- Provide variance analysis and recommendations to improve business performance
- Support business cases, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, and corporate governance requirements
- Present financial results and insights to senior management stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance and operations
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Strong commercial acumen and business partnering capability
- Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-support skills
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Proven ability to operate within a fast-paced FMCG environment
- CA(SA) qualification (essential)
- 35 years' post-articles experience
- Experience within FMCG, Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Beverage, or related industries advantageous
- Strong financial planning, reporting, and business partnering experience
- Advanced Excel and ERP system experience beneficial
