Job Description

Our client is seeking a Junior Bookkeeper to join their accounts department. This role is ideal for a candidate with a solid bookkeeping foundation who is looking to gain experience within a structured and supportive legal environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Accounts Manager and provide support across various bookkeeping and financial administration functions.

You will be responsible for:

• Assisting with day-to-day bookkeeping functions
• Managing creditor and debtor accounts
• Processing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records
• Assisting with the preparation of documentation for auditors
• Supporting the accounts team with general financial administration

• Bookkeeping or relevant financial qualification (essential)

Skills

The successful candidate will have:

• 12 years experience in a bookkeeping role
• Experience within a legal environment (advantageous)
• Exposure to legal accounting systems such as AJS (preferred)
• Experience managing creditors and debtors
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Good organisational and time management skills
