Our client is seeking a motivated and service-oriented First Line IT Technician to join their team in Gauteng. This role involves providing first-line support for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and excellent customer experience across the organisation.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• A relevant IT qualification or Diploma (CompTIA A+/N+, or similar)
• 12 years of experience in a First Line Support or IT Technician role
• Experience with Windows operating systems, Office 365, and basic network troubleshooting
• Understanding of Active Directory and user account management
• Knowledge of ticketing systems and IT service desk processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A customer-centric attitude and strong troubleshooting skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
• Log and track support requests through the ticketing system
• Escalate complex issues to second line support when necessary
• Assist with user onboarding and account setup
• Maintain accurate documentation and technical records
