Chemical production engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and optimize chemical production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor plant performance and implement process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and R&D teams to enhance plant operations.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Support commissioning and scaling of new processes and equipment.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• 37 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing or processing environment.
• Strong understanding of process engineering principles and plant operations.
• Knowledge of HAZOP, risk assessments, and process safety management.
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory and environmental standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
