Reservationist/Receptionist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle reservations, cancellations, and guest inquiries via phone and email
  • Handle bookings for restaurant
  • Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently
  • Provide information about accommodation, facilities, and local attractions
  • Maintain accurate records and always ensure excellent guest service
  • Assist with administrative and front-office duties as required
  • Group welcoming from Safari drives
  • Assist in Curio shop

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in hospitality, front office, or reservations
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a 4 or 5-star lodge/hotel/resort environment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Computer literacy (MS Office; Xero, POS & reservation systems advantageous)
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including Weekends
  • Able to work under pressure and be able to multitask
  • Must have knowledge of all accommodation rates
  • Own Transport
  • Shift work 5-6 days a week including weekends and hours is from 07h30-16h30
  • Odyssey preferred, or knowledge of Protel and Opera or similar
  • Accommodation is provided
