Solid Edge Design Engineer

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
• Proven experience as a CAD Designer / Design Engineer, preferably using Solid Edge.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in creating and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, and 3D printing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Duties:

• Develop 3D models and assemblies using Solid Edge, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design requirements.
• Produce technical drawings, schematics, and detailed specifications for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and production teams to ensure design feasibility and optimization.
• Conduct design simulations and revisions to improve product performance and reliability.
• Maintain design documentation and adhere to company engineering standards.
• Provide technical support during manufacturing, assembly, and testing processes.
• Stay updated with latest CAD technologies, design trends, and manufacturing methods.
• Experience in product development and R&D projects.
• Familiarity with other CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Exposure to simulation tools for stress analysis or motion studies.
