Senior Business Analyst
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to play a key role in a critical data transition initiative within our investment operations. The initial focus of this role will be on mapping and transitioning core investment data—including securities, holdings, valuations, classifications, and analytics—into a new or enhanced data environment.
As the project evolves, the scope may expand to include portfolio performance, portfolio risk, and other essential elements of the investment data landscape. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of investment data structures and workflows, excellent analytical and stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
What you’ll do:
Delivery an efficient and accurate onboarding of the existing fund’s data, achieved by:
- Working in tandem with our data and process subject matter experts to understand the existing Ninety One data model and data flows.
- Taking point on analysing the data from the current fund provider
- Providing detailed, accurate and actionable mappings for load these data sets into the existing Ninety One data models and processes.
- To communicate progress, issues and risks clearly and on time.
Risk Compliance:
- Adhering to the Code of Ethics and related policies, including personal account dealing, gifts, market abuse, etc.
- Ensuring Compliance training, declarations and relevant forms are completed on a timely basis
- Ensuring that firm and client data and property, including IT data, are properly protected
- Reporting any possible and actual breaches, errors, complaints or conduct issues.

Your expertise:
Technical knowledge and experience:
- SQL
- Excel
- Other tools or experience relevant to the comparison and mapping of data
System / Domain knowledge and experience:
- Previous experience as a Business Analyst
- Financial Services knowledge
- You must be familiar with financial data such as securities, holdings for Equities and Fixed Income
