Senior Credit Risk Consultant / Assistant Manager
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering credit risk and regulatory advisory services, providing business insights, and supporting clients across the credit lifecycle. This role offers exposure to a broad range of engagements, including model development, validation, monitoring, and strategic credit risk initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, validate, and monitor credit risk models (e.g. impairment, regulatory, and economic capital models)
- Perform portfolio credit analytics and benchmarking across peers and markets
- Contribute to the design and implementation of credit monitoring frameworks
- Support collections optimisation and credit strategy initiatives
- Review client deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness
- Prepare clear and professional client reports and presentations
- Communicate project progress, challenges, and outcomes with stakeholders
- Share knowledge and support the development of junior team members
- Deliver highâquality work in a fastâpaced consulting environment, demonstrating the ability to hit the ground running
About the ideal candidate:

Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree (or higher) in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline
- 35 years experience in credit risk, financial services consulting, banking, or a related environment
- Solid understanding of credit risk modelling and predictive analytics
- Experience with model validation, monitoring, or testing
- Exposure to the credit lifecycle, including collections and strategy, is advantageous
- Coding experience using SAS, R, and/or Python
- Strong analytical, problemâsolving, and reportâwriting skills
