Diesel Mechanic / Technician (Small Engine Equipment)

Responsibilities:

Inspect returned machines for faults, wear, or damage
Diagnose and repair diesel and small-engine equipment
Perform routine services (oil, filters, belts, cooling systems)
Test equipment after repairs to ensure safe operation
Complete job cards and record work done
Work with the workshop team to keep equipment hire-ready

Equipment you will work on:

Diesel generators
Diesel water pumps and compressors
Plate compactors and rammers
Small engine construction equipment
Petrol-driven plant and tools

Requirements Include:

Mechanical / engine repair experience
Ability to diagnose basic diesel and small-engine faults
Neat workmanship and attention to detail
Reliable and team-oriented attitude
Experience in construction plant or tool hire will be advantageous.
Ideal experience or background includes: Diesel mechanic or mechanic assistant, Small engine technician, Construction plant technician and Tool-hire workshop technician

Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 7:00am 5:00pm
