Lead Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:
- Provide precise mechanical design input and perform engineering calculations in line with project, client, and regulatory requirements
- Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, scopes, and technical documentation to ensure alignment with design intent
- Identify scope variations and prepare the necessary supporting documentation
- Ensure correctly specified mechanical equipment is sourced to meet project and operational requirements
- Deliver high-quality engineering outputs within defined budget and schedule constraints
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 10 years post-graduate experience in a senior mechanical engineering role within heavy industrial projects
- Proven experience within mining or mineral processing environments
- Registered ECSA Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently while building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
Qualification:
- Minimum B.eng or Bsc in Mechanical Engineering.
