Job Description:

Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of on-site infrastructureincluding network cabling, electrical wiring, and machine connectivityto ensure smooth system integration
Deliver comprehensive IT support by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and system integration issues across machines and IT platforms
Install, configure, and integrate specialized software with machine systems to support operational and business requirements
Maintain and update machine and IT databases, ensuring data integrity, operational efficiency, and seamless site performance
Perform software upgrades and machine interface updates to ensure optimal system reliability and performance
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both clients and colleagues; fluency in Afrikaans is essential for effective collaboration

Skills & Experience:

Proficiency in spoken and written Afrikaans is essential
Strong IT capabilities combined with expertise in machine integration and electronic technology
Proven ability to perform accurate machine calibration and system alignment
Knowledge of PLC systems and automation technologies is advantageous

Qualification:

Diploma or Degree in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering
Valid drivers licence
Valid passport (required for international travel)
