IT Support Intern

The role also includes supporting IT operations, troubleshooting basic technical issues, and ensuring accurate IT documentation and asset management.

Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line IT support and assist users with hardware, software, and system-related issues.
• Manage company cellphones and related administration on the Vodacom Portal.
• Maintain and update IT asset registers, including users, storeroom assets, and vendor deliveries.
• Assist with IT asset disposals and ensure accurate record keeping.
• Manage the IT Helpdesk by logging, tracking, and processing IT support queries.
• Support IT procurement processes, including sourcing and tracking IT equipment and consumables.
• Assist with the maintenance and administration of SharePoint platforms.
• Support the maintenance and enhancement of Power Flow systems.
• Assist with Power Apps maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Support Power BI maintenance, reporting, and dashboard updates.
• Assist with AI-related system maintenance and technology support.
• Ensure proper documentation of IT processes, assets, and support activities.
• Provide general IT administrative and technical support to the department.

Minimum Requirements:

• South African unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
• Must not have participated in the YES programme before.
• Matric.
• National Diploma / Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Development, or related qualification.
• Basic understanding of IT support, systems administration, and Microsoft platforms will be advantageous.
