Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the financial reporting function, ensuring compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes
- Provide commercial and financial insights to support executive decision-making
- Drive financial performance analysis and identify opportunities for business improvement
- Strengthen internal controls, risk management, and governance frameworks
- Oversee audit processes and liaise with external auditors and relevant stakeholders
- Partner with senior leadership to support growth strategies, investment decisions, and operational efficiencies
- Lead, mentor, and develop finance teams to ensure high performance and succession planning
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes and systems
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications- BCom Accounting, Financial Management, or a related finance qualification
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA))
- Currently employed in a Finance Manager, Financial Manager, Head of Finance, Finance Business Partner, Group Accountant, Financial Controller, Finance Director, or similar finance leadership role
- Post-articles experience within commercial finance, financial management, reporting, audit, or advisory environments
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, and corporate governance principles
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and business partnering
- Proven ability to influence strategic decision-making through financial insights
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Experience managing finance teams and driving performance
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and commercial acumen
- Experience using ERP systems and financial reporting tools
