Role: Junior Accountant / Bookkeeper
Location: Hermanus, Overberg, Western Cape

Salary: TBC

What youll be doing:

Youll manage the day-to-day bookkeeping for a variety of clients. This includes bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and maintaining accurate financial records. Youll be working across multiple businesses, so being organised and deadline-driven is key.

What matters most:

Im specifically looking for someone who has worked in a practice environment and is used to handling multiple clients at the same time. You need to be comfortable juggling deadlines, taking ownership, and working independently.

Requirements:

Experience in a bookkeeping or junior accounting role
Previous experience in an accounting / audit / bookkeeping practice (non-negotiable)
Proficient in Xero and QuickBooks
Strong bank reconciliation and accounts payable experience
Able to manage multiple clients and deadlines
Self-motivated, accountable, and reliable
Comfortable working in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
