COC Site Electrician
The Site Electrician will be responsible for the dayâtoâday electrical maintenance and support of client facilities, ensuring that all electrical systems operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with relevant regulations. The role includes planned and preventative maintenance, faultâfinding, and repair work on both singleâphase and threeâphase installations, including distribution boards, lighting, power circuits, and associated equipment.
You will respond to breakdowns and urgent electrical issues, supporting continuous site operations while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Working largely independently, the Site Electrician will liaise with site management and contractors as required, maintain accurate maintenance records, and play a key role in minimising downtime and ensuring the ongoing reliability of the sites electrical infrastructure.
Education:
- Qualified Electrician (Trade Test essential)
- 35 years experience as a Site or Maintenance Electrician
- Proven experience working with 3-phase systems
- Valid Wiremans License

- Ability to work independently on-site
- Reliable, well-organised, and safety-conscious
- Carry out routine and preventative electrical maintenance on site
- Fault finding and repairs on 3-phase and single-phase systems
- Installation and maintenance of:
- DB boards
- Lighting, power circuits and distribution systems
- Motor control panels and associated equipment
- Ensure that all electrical work complies with the OHS Act and relevant SANS standards
